Thought Process:
If you google Budapest and search for Fisherman’s Bastian, you’ll likely come across a picture with a very similar composition. So nothing original. However, I do like that because this was taken during sunrise, the stone at the main entrance way is illuminated. The archway, with the statues to the left and right of the picture are dimly lit.
Personal Thoughts:
A fun picture but no originality. I wish I had gotten to this position sooner so that the sun wasn’t hitting the third statue to the left. That would have made it more consistent. In terms of where the eye should go I think it was done well. Your eye tunnels through the arch and to the architecture up ahead.
